There is enough margin for lawyers to solve that puzzle.

The economics are clear as you pointed out. Technology is the driver of this. No lobbyists to kill public transport in LA in favor of highways this time around.

Exponential technological development beats politics this time.

Ncknckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14580008070423402328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5846567313402731847.post-82149431101730374852017-09-17T11:18:50.225-07:002017-09-17T11:18:50.225-07:00And unfortunately, we're back into the realm o...And unfortunately, we're back into the realm of fake news, as I read today that the White House is denying that there has been any policy change with regard to climate change or the Paris Accords.

Regardless, evolving technology will continue driving conditions towards a smaller carbon footprint. There is a move afoot towards developing new engines for small aircraft that will not require 100 octane Aviation Gas. Apparently, that gas contains 4 times the amount of tetraethyl lead that 95 octane automotive used to contain before lead was banned. I, of course, did not know this twenty years ago when going to the airport and buying Avgas to keep one of my exotic motorcycle engines from pinging.

BBByker Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15602697337552385535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5846567313402731847.post-43161082141655187192017-09-17T02:25:28.582-07:002017-09-17T02:25:28.582-07:00(Im) Moral conduct is causing climate change. Hopefully we can now get past the bogus posturing that global climate change is a hoax, and perhaps do something about the problem. Something also must be done about the plastics that are choking the ocean and the global extinction of so many species of animal. It just boggles the mind that people even fought that it was a worthy cause to fight the obvious. I blame Rush Limbaugh for much of this.

I've got some of my corporate buddies suggesting that I buy a new Corvette, but am honestly considering some sort of electric car.

BBByker Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15602697337552385535noreply@blogger.com
