I would just like to take a moment to thank the readers of this humble blog. I am quite surprised to have gained such attention so quickly. Thank you, Mr. Gavin Rumney, for giving me such a prominent
introduction (Dead link.) to the wider XCOG blogging community out there; thank you, xHWA, for your
kind greetings; and thank you to all who read and make comments on this blog. Without you this blog would mean nothing.
Just glad you're out. How could I not want to tell people about it?
ReplyDeleteemail me some time, eh?

Anyone who exits a cog splinter group screaming that Mr. Armstrong was a charlatan will get a "warm" welcome by the cabal of scoffers, who post at AW blog. So please don't think that you are special or that your blog is indeed humble. Your blog, like AW blog, is another irrational rant against a servant of God.
Tom is just upset because his blog failed miserably. He is a die hard Herbal fan. Pay no attention to the scoffer names Tom.

Popularity is not a sign of success. If it was, Jesus would have been a failure! But, then, according to the depressed Dennis, he was! What folly!
Tom scribes: Popularity is not a sign of success.
ReplyDeleteTrue old Tommy Boy! But is a sign that your blog was dis-interesting! No one was interested in the rants of a demented one track mind webmaster. You should have done a study on what sells!
You spent to much time taunting Dennis and Douglas. Shame on you! You realize that the Jews persecuted Christ who worked for the good of mankind. Why do you persecute those who try to help and nurture the poor and suffering?
You should return and re apologize to those who you slander and persecute. What kind of example are you to your children when you show raw hatred to those who oppose slavery in every form?
I am afraid Satan has you in his grips! Repent Tom before it is too late!

Then I would have been popular! Wow!! Well, I don't have anything to sell, you may be surprised to learn. All I have is the truth to share with those who are capable of recognising the truth.
As for Dennis, he is a dog that has returned to its own vomit, and the foul-mouthed Douglas conspired to get me ban from AW blog by insulting Gavin, and signing my name to his comments. I shudder to think of the consequences of his deceitfulness.
>>I am afraid Satan has you in his grips!<<
This is a familiar refrain of my detractors. But I am in good company, for Jesus was accused of demon possession!
Tom Mahon is the perfect example of what Armstrongism does to people's minds.

ReplyDeleteWait, how can you know Douglas did it. It may have been me. Don't you worry about the cost of slander?

Absolutely! It enables me to recognise that people die because of sin, and not as a result of listening to sermons.

Well, if it were you, I apologise to Douglas, though he is still foul-mouthed.

If you understood the justice of God, you would be very worried!!
Worried for you Tom. NOT!!!
ReplyDelete">>Don't you worry about the cost of slander?
ReplyDeleteIf you understood the justice of God, you would be very worried!!"
That doesn't answer the question, Tom. Do you understand the cost of slander? Obviously, a person who carelessly tosses around accusation doesn't understand the justice of God.
For example, let's review the 10 Commandments that you say you adhere to - and which you say are the very things that set you apart: THOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOR. Michael wouldn't bring a railing accusation against Satan, yet you bring accusation wherever the mood strikes you. (PRO. 10: 18) "Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, And whoever spreads slander is a fool" (PSA. 101: 5) "Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, Him I will destroy" II Timothy 3: 3 lists slander as a sign of the times. This is from the law which you claim to understand and keep!
Now, if I may misquote Romans 2: 13 in the manner to which you have become accustomed to hearing it from Armstrongism, "for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified".
xHWA,
ReplyDeleteTom is a fool and a loser. Feel pity on him.

Well, I am delighted that you have answered it.
However, the word God is like a two-edged sword, so you need to be careful you use it. By twisting the sword in the wrong direction, you could slash yourself to death.

ReplyDeleteTom, put your butter knife away, you may cut yourself like the way you butchered and botched your sentence above!

Even an idiot could have substituted the missing word. Unless, of course, they are clutching at straws!
Are you judging me? Name calling also?
ReplyDeleteSuch humble Christian love....
Tom wrote "By twisting the sword in the wrong direction, you could slash yourself to death."
ReplyDeleteYou still haven't answered the question.
More interestingly, you admit that you are fully aware of what you're doing. Hey... your guilt is on your head. I tried to warn you.

Only if you were clutching at straws. Otherwise, no.
Tom wrote: "Only if you were clutching at straws. Otherwise, no."
ReplyDeleteWell I was "clutching at straws" so now you are going to judge me. Right?
Poor ol' Tom. He never got to be a ministurd like he wanted. He never amounted to anything in the church he loved - just a nobody. I'm sure he worked hard to become a deacon but in spite of all his ass-kissing and volunteering, all he ever got was duped and conned.
ReplyDeleteHe was probably one of those "pick me, pick me" kind of guys who never got picked except for some menial job like washing a minister's car.
It'd be extremely funny if it weren't so sad.
I ran into his type in the wcg. The guy is a wanna-be Dr. Bob.
ReplyDeleteCorky
ReplyDeleteYou are sadly mistaken. You are judging me by your own standards, or lack of standards.
Genuine Christians do not have ambitions to become anything. Their sole purpose is to understand and live by the will of God, you might be surprised to learn!
