Any tension or source of disagreement between Japan and the United States is fearfully presented as evidence that Japan is about to disregard US interests and assert themselves as a major power in order to turn against the United States and Britain.
PCG also fearfully announces that Japan is about to remove any restraints on the use of their Self-Defense Forces and that Japan is plotting to make nuclear weapons. (In fact many Japanese people utterly hate that idea and make their feelings heard to any Japanese politician who dares to utter such a thing.)
PCG's demonization of Japan is particularly cynical in that Japan is generally not treated as being particularly important in COG prophetic speculations (which very often have been proven wrong). Considering what HWA taught there is no need for PCG to demonize Japan in this way, but they choose to do so over and over again.
It is disgusting to see PCG's writers exploiting the injustices and tragedies caused by successive Japanese governments' militarism up to 1945 simply to keep their readers fearful and frightened of fanciful enemies. The readers do not see that PCG's leaders do not have the readers' interest at heart.
If I thought the writers of PCG were being sincere and simply trying to inform their readers I would have no problem with that. It is good to discuss and expose the many crimes and atrocities that were caused by the militarism of successive Japanese governments that occurred until 1945.
But to exploit this sorrowful history just to get people to pay three tithes and extra offerings is just disgusting, and a terrible exploitation of the mass suffering that occurred and which we still grapple with. This demonization of Japan is just a relatively small part of PCG's demonization of the entire world carefully designed to make people isolate themselves from the surrounding society and join PCG and devote all their energies to building it up for the benefit of a few privileged leaders within PCG.
What xenophobic bile these writers make!
But what can one expect from a group that dares to belittle the Srebrenica Massacre as just "a crime of passion" and falsely accuses Germany of starting the Yugoslav Wars in December 1991 when the armed conflict actually started in June?
I take great delight in exposing the writers who chose to demonize Japan simply to get people fearful for no good reason and frighten them into giving PCG their money.
