Previously I had explored the issues of PCG's Trumpet Weekly in previous posts (2007-8, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014).
Here are some articles of PCG's Trumpet Weekly that recently caught my attention.
July 31 2010: Quotes Robert Spencer, a main pillar of the Islamophobia Network.
October 29, 2011: Quotes Jihad Watch, a part of the Islamophobia Network.
December 10, 2011: Robert Morley condemns big banks. Unusual attempt to sound vaguely left wing. They tend to advance other explanations for the global financial crisis.
November 12, 2011: Quotes Counterpunch, a left wing publication. PCG leans far to the right in regards to politics. But even so such sources are (rarely) quoted sometimes. This is one such occasion.
January 21, 2012: Discusses Area C in the West Bank.
March 24, 2012: Mention of clashes in Gaza.
April 7, 2012: Contains picture of German led Europe advancing towards the Holy Land. Quotes Clarion Fund, a part of the Islamophobia Network.
May 26, 2012: It is stated that Gerald Flurry said that Asia and Europe will destroy America. (Brad MacDonald's article.)
August 25, 2012: Cites report of "Satanic ritual abuse" in Britain. Although it is now generally accepted that the previous moral scare about such things in the 1980s was essentially baseless nevertheless the PCG leadership presents this inflammatory rumor to their readers in this 2012 issue. Historically this accusation has caused many innocent persons to be falsely accused and imprisoned for false accusations. How dare PCG presents this tainted idea.
September 1, 2012: "Iran Shuns Hamas". A recent Trumpet Daily episode claimed that Hamas was moving away from Iran and claimed this somehow fulfilled biblical prophecy. This articles exposes the fact that they have been saying the same thing for nearly three years now. At the least.
January 5, 2013: "Glenn Back Tried to Buy Current TV".
August 17, 2013: Quotes Betsy McCaughey, a major opponent of health care reform.
August 24, 2013: Al Jazeera America begins. The PCG leadership has a history of hostility towards Al Jazeera.
September 7, 2013: Quotes Think Progress, a left wing blog. PCG leans far to the right in regards to politics. But even so such
sources are (rarely) quoted sometimes. This is one such occasion.
November 9, 2013: Robert Morley discusses LAX Shooting.
April 12, 2014: Quotes one who insists the futures market will collapse within twelve months. April 2015 came and went without incident.
November 8, 2014: Quotes Christian Post. PCG often condemn Protestant Christians as being false Christians or worshipping on Sunday and other such things Armstrongites disagree with. But the PCG leadership will still quote a media source that caters for evangelical Christians in their publication such as this issue.
February 28, 2015: Quotes The Nation. PCG leans far to the right in regards to politics. But even so such
sources are (rarely) quoted sometimes. This is one such occasion.
