Exit and Support Network has released another testimony from an ex-PCG member. The feelings and struggles described there are quite common among those getting out of highly controlling groups.
These sociopaths are playing with fire. In 2005, Terry Ratzman came into LCG services and killed the minister along with murdering and maiming other members in his anger against Roderick Meredith's abuse. This sort of attack has not been repeated since, but given how people are treated, it is probably only a matter of time before someone has had enough and decides to take matters into his (or her) own hands.
Fortunately for the psychos running the cults, people are generally too cowed by the constant censure to do little else than commit suicide. You don't hear about the rash of recent suicides in the RCG because they have been covered up. In the case of other sects of the Cult of Herbert Armstrong Mafia, alternative speculative reasons were given to cover up the fact it was indeed suicide.
At some point though, the vetting process to get the passive to continue to cough up luxury funds for the egoists of the insane cults will fail and aggressive alphas (or even psychopaths) will make it through and when they become angry enough and have had enough, they will take action. Once it happens in one place, it is likely to happen all over the ACoGs.
People like Pack, Meredith, Flurry don't seem to realize that backlash for their bad behavior could devastate their cults very rapidly: First comes the news of tragedy and then the copy cats. In the current climate of frustration, particularly in the United States, it is dangerous to be extremely abusive as the sociopaths of the Cult of Herbert Armstrong Mafia are.
Just know that even though you will ignore it, you have been warned.
Yeah, I know: So filled with hubris that it's just so much hyperbole.
Oh, yeah, I forgot. I was there in Luker's congregation after Sabbath Services one Saturday when I was shocked to have Chuck Harris show me his pistol he was carrying in his suit coat pocket.
It wasn't long after that he shot and killed several people in the Bellevue congregation.
And the regional pastor didn't have a clue about what was going on right under his nose but some members of the congregation knew -- particularly Chuck's roommate who was going nuts because of what he was experiencing up close and personal.
The teens in the church were pals with Chuck and about the same time a couple of them shot and killed their drug dealer (and the elder's son went to prison). My wife and I actually had a chance encounter with the Elder and his wife at the Seattle Center in front of the fountain on the Sunday after the shooting -- before they had a clue about what had happened but soon the Seattle Times had the story....
Oh! You were there at Chuck Harris' congregation. I am not sure what to say. I am sorry to hear about that. That must have been a terrible thing for you and your wife to go through.
Thank you for sharing this part of your life story here. I feel very honored that you chose to share this here.

Until it isn't.

By the way, Black Ops Mickey, I've got a big article coming up soon. It will probably be released later today or tomorrow.
