I do not yet know when this book is coming out. Maybe they will release it during the Feast of Tabernacles.
This book is a greatly expanded revision of Gerald Flurry's booklet, The Former Prophets--God's Royal Family, which was first printed in 1998.
It was later reprinted in 2002, 2005 and 2007 and will now by replaced by a 288 page book.
You can read a preview containing two chapters from the new book in their reprint article, The 3,000 Year-Old Lamp.
I read the 2005 version of this booklet and posted about it in a previous post.
(Hat tip: PCG's Joel Hilliker.)
I wonder who is printing it? Is PCG doing it themselves? If someone else is doing it they should be told the truth about PCG.
I have a suspicion that this book might be released into stores. If I ever saw this book in the store I would so love to place a little pamphlet in it which tells the truth about PCG and reveals the fact that PCG actually has a bad reputation among those knowledgeable of the COGs.
Not least because of PCG's no contact policy regarding members of the other COG groups who are constantly demonized as Laodiceans by Flurry and Co.
And also PCG still embraces HWA's dangerous anti-medicine superstition.
Also it needs to be stated that Gerald Flurry plagiarized The Letter to Laodicea by Jules Dervaes (written December 1986-January 1988) to write Malachi's Message. Dervaes' writing was sent to 237 WCG ministers including Gerald Flurry and John Amos. In fact on September 26, 1990 Jules Dervaes sent a letter to Gerald Flurry in which he denounces Malachi's Message as "a direct and clear plagiarism" of his work. Plagiarism is an act of intellectual theft. Why would God work with a group that relied upon an act of intellectual theft?
These are just some of the facts that any potential reader of this book have a right to know.
