Armstrong Auditorium Cost More than PCG's Yearly Income

[Update: May 15, 2014: I just recalled that Stephen Flurry revealed that PCG's income in 2010 was $20.6 million. So income by 2012 had actually gone down.]

Recently in a previous post I stumbled upon a statement of Gerald Flurry in which he states that the annual income of PCG in 2012 is about $19.5 million.

Additionally, the Church has a college, a K-12 school and a performing arts center. All of this is due to the fact that the income has gone from virtually nothing in 1989 to around $19.5 million annually as of 2012. We know from other sources that Armstrong Auditorium cost PCG about $25 million. (Exit and Support Network.)

So PCG has plunged more then its yearly income in building this white elephant that is Armstrong Auditorium.

Why didn't PCG ministers stand up against this expenditure? Are they really so desperate to flatter Gerald Flurry?

It should be remembered that Stephen Flurry, in chapter 2 of his book Raising the Ruins, made the following statement about old WCG's Ambassador Auditorium, that it was...

Yet another legacy that was neither heavy nor burdensome.

Well, PCG's leaders have now seemed to discovered that building Armstrong Auditorium has turned out to be quite heavy and burdensome.
