Overview of May-June 2014 Tomorrow's World Magazine

The May-June 2014 issue of LCG's recruitment magazine Tomorrow's World is now out. Let us see what LCG's leader have to say this time.

Roderick C. Meredith has a personal claiming that he learned that mainstream Christianity is false. He mentions how he saw a friend of his die while wrestling and this caused him to search for answers. No doubt this must have been very hard for him to deal with. Of course he will recommend that the reader should join his LCG and pay three tithes to it.

Roderick C. Meredith has an article condemning the rapture theory and instead insisting that worthy LCG members will be sent by God to a place of safety to escape the Great Tribulation. He even has a little picture of Petra on page 26.

Wyatt Ciesielka has an article comparing the Islamic Qur'an with Christianity. Considering he belongs to a religion which claims to be Christian it will be no surprise that he will say that LCG's brand of Armstrongism is true.

Richard Ames has an article claiming that reader can understand prophecy. Of course Ames then merely promotes LCG's version of Armstrongite prophecy, which has been ultimately inherited from the Millerite movement of the 1830s-1840s.

James Ginn has a little article bemoaning various personal scandals among the powerful and famous within Canada and saying this is a sign the Great Tribulation shall soon occur.

John Meakin has a little article recalling D-Day and saying certain events that occurred then were miraculous. In the world of Armstrongism such nostalgic article are often used to claim that the US and Britain and now moral wastelands compared to those days and that such happy events are now quite impossible because of our sins. These Armstrongites conveniently forget that HWA was preaching that Hitler would triumph in the war at the time of the D-day landings.

The Question and Answer explain away the thief's request to Jesus in Luke 23:43 as just a miss placed comma to insist that the doctrine of soul sleep is the truth. This doctrine was inherited from the Seventh Day Adventists.

Douglas Winnail has a fear inducing article claiming that Germany is on the rise and will soon conquer the United States and Britain and make slaves of the peoples.

Scott D. Winnail has a little article telling LCG members that they should stay away from movies which portray violence. This is simply an attempt to socially isolate LCG members from society and make it harder for LCG members to relate to non-LCG members in order to control and exploit them more effectively.

Jonathan McNair has a little article calling for people to respect your elders.

J. Davy Crockett (he who said obelisks are evil, pagan sex symbols) in his little article calls upon LCG members to pay attention to be righteous in even little things.

Page 30 contains a page length explanation for the purpose of their recruitment magazine. The magazine is praised for being free. Of course LCG members pay for this by paying three tithes.

So we see that once again LCG has produced yet another magazine designed to make LCG members believe that they are specially blessed to be in LCG and to continue paying three tithes and extra offerings to LCG.
