Joel Hilliker's Diatribe Against Pop Music
PCG's Joel Hilliker has this bizarre, misanthropic diatribe against pop music. (Joel Hilliker, Trumpet Hour, December 2, 2015, 47-53 minutes.)
In a sign of just how ignorant Hilliker's diatribe is he seems to think that the pop songs are written by the celebrity singers themselves. While that may be true in some cases in many instances that is simply not the case.
This condemnation of popular culture is part of an attempt to socially isolate PCG members away from society. If their access to popular culture is restricted to PCG members then it is harder for them to notice that perhaps being in PCG is not quite so wonderful after all.
