PCG Condemning Climate Change as Ignoring (PCG's) God

It is widely known that the excess emission of carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases are causing the Earth's climate to change. PCG's leaders from their facilities in Edmond and Edstone insist on downplayng this problem contrary to the vast amount of evidence indicating otherwise. This may be seen in a recent broadcast of PCG's Trumpet Daily.
The climate is changing. But the “science” pushed by the mainstream media and biased scientists to explain why it is changing is simply bogus. Humanity is changing the climate—but not for the reasons you so often hear about. God has always given mankind a choice—to obey His law or to reject it. Obedience brings blessings and disobedience brings curses. The Bible says that God is in control of the weather and He will use it to bless or curse mankind. Herbert W. Armstrong asked, “Can you realize that every unhappiness, every evil that has come to humanity, has been the result of transgressing God’s law?” That is the plain truth about climate change you won’t hear anywhere else but the Trumpet.
In other words PCG's leaders want to tell their audience that weather disasters are a sign of (PCG's) God's wrath upon America but if they admitted that climate change is real they could not say that anymore. What a dreadful response to the severe problem of climate change.

  1. Wow! I wondered why none of the ACOGs that I'm aware of recognized human-caused climate change. I think we're up to 97% of the actual peer-reviewed scientists agreeing that there is climate change, and that it is man-made. Angela Merkel's husband is one of the premier climate scientists of the world, and the Merkels will probably eventually make believers even out of Donald Trump. It's actually preferable for now for the US to have pulled out of the Paris accords than to be sabotaging international efforts from within.

But, climate change presents an alternative apocalypse to that taught by Armstrongism, so we can continue to expect ridicule from ACOG "leaders" like Mark Armstrong. In the middle of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Armstrongs were telling the church not to even worry about Russia, that the Bible said that Germany and Europe were going to usher in the tribulation.

The Armstrong world view is very much dated. Unfortunately, that doesn't keep the ones with their blinders on from defending it, and attempting to continue spreading it.

  2. Thanks for your comment. How unfortunate it is that out of partisan rivalry the COGs are blind to the problem of climate change.

In regards to the Cuban missile crisis I must state that that situation was very bad and it very nearly led to nuclear war. Radio COG was wrong and dreadfully irresponsible to claim that nothing would happen. Catastrophe could very well have happened in 1962.

    1. The missile crisis could have ended in very devastating fashion. It's not too difficult to calm acolytes about an existential threat that looks as if it might kick in before the apocalypse for which you've already given them the timeline. I don't think any of the church members even batted an eye over the missiles, or over the assassination of President Kennedy. They just interpreted those events as being additional signs of the end times, in fact, as validation that we were right on course and that the Armstrongs were right. It wasn't until 1972-75 that some of us began to ask some really hardball questions. Others allowed for perpetual revision and are still with some form of the group yet today.

  3. At least HWA seems right on what would not happen.

During the entire occupation of Germany from 1945-1993 wcg and hwa signalled to the Soviets that the prime concern for the USA was not the nuclear strike capability of the Soviets but to deny that capability to the Europeans because of the power it would wield to them.

This was entirely on line with Soviet strategy which had no real reason to destroy the world for the workers and went out of their way sending scientists to Fidel explaining what the natural consequences of Soviet first strike might be for Cuba.

Of course those 10 days were amongst the most dangerous ever (just like oktober 2008 when Obama saved the entire economic world system as we knew it from total collapse when the US had squandered trust in their financial institutions).

HWA's condemnation of Europe and especially the sins of the american people, during the Cuba crisis, instead of condemning the Soviets would have been quite difficult to grasp at the time.

Reading declassified documents now it fits right into the larger Soviet strategy to not desire the destruction of the world as proven in their actions and treaties later up to the moment when Reagan stepped up his rethoric to condemn the Afghan invasion an destabalize the status quo that had existed up to then.

Of course Reagan had good reason to destabelize the equilibrium since his data showed the Soviet economy would not be able to sustain a renewed arms race as the West would be able to accumulate debt during the Reagan years.

All his history. The Germans where released from their shackles in 1993. And the sole reminder of warning the world for Germans in California is BB reminding us of those dire predictions that only were fulfilled under the governorship of the AC trained Schwarzenegger.

  4. For those nitpicking pharasees. It was not october.
Obama and colleagues saved the world in november 2008 in Jackson hole when the world as defined as civilisation was just hours away from disappearing as all data in the financial centers in London indicated.

Exactly as predicted it would be an economic crisis strengthening European institutions beyond recognition as compared to pre 2008 structures. Britain no longer part of the structure.

It is all a play. And we are merely the players. An the script seems to have been handed to us on a platter since 1945.

Except the movie is updated now and then with modern actors or better special effects. ( like sept 2001)

  5. Nck, your posts contain a lot of nonsense. Particularly the one about Arnold Schwarzenegger being AC-trained. Arnold had been a friend of Harry Schneider's in Harry's semi-professional power-lifting days. Harry invited him to the campus, and Arnold visited the weight room, toured the campus, and addressed the students on a couple of occasions. It was a very incidental relationship, and he never surrendered to the WCG's mentorship as did another famous person, Bobby Fischer.

As usual, you are reaching and fabricating in order to aggrandize the idol (HWA) whom you claim to have secularized for the purpose of uncovering his "real" work. Nobody is buying what you are selling. Perhaps you should give it a rest?

You take yourself way to seriously and have shown many times to at least not understand my humor but lie on occassion.

Schwarzenegger of course was not in any way related to wcg. However his training with Scheider was very intense.

The words "a lot" of nonsense show that you are not a trained person on the subject.

    1. Harry was my coach and my friend. I spent a lot of time with him, and we discussed Arnold at length.

By the way, have you ever considered using emojis or comments like LOL? It's difficult sometimes to understand the humor coming from people who speak English as a second language, and perhaps that would help us in determining when you are joking.

When your London bankers were becoming enlightened about the value of firearms, what were all the ACOGs prophesying?

  7. Perhaps you refer as "nonsense" the ocassion in 2008 when I saw peo in the center of the industry call their wifes to buy weapons and take the children to the countryside. No not rednecks. London bankers in the heart of the city.

I have made jokes and perhaps it is difficult to see when. But mostly I report from the heart of the body.

  8. To be very specidic this time in my issue with you is the use of the words "a lot".

Somw may filter my 2 funnies out and label them "not funny", a matter of taste.

The other 90% is from the textbook or declassified.

Actually. You are right many times. But you do piss people off occassionaly.

You are right. I should have used LOL when referring to Arnie as the fulfillment of prophecy about germans in california occupying seats of government.

I believed the joke to be obvious, but I was wrong.

You know their friendship was quite loyal.
Decades later, in 2007, the governor asked Mr. Sneider to serve on his Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Harry tried the "latvian" connection with Fischer to make that selfie. But Fischer denied.

    London bankers and ACOG's.

You probably know that I do not comment on ACOG's after 1986 since I find them all obsolete. You phrased it quite well when you said they outlasted their date of expiry.

The only thing we differ on is that your date of expiry is explicitly 1975. While my date of expiry for wcg was the collapse of the soviet union and the lowering of the Soviet flag from the Kremlin being replaced with the former Tsarist flag.
Just a few years before J Tkach had denied that the fall of the Wall had any prophetic significance. This to me was the exact moment of date of expiry of relevance of the work of the wcg. (the work which hwa said was the very purpose of the church). Again a point we differ on. I quote HWA and you say the church was the center of gravity. HWA said many times the work was the center of gravity and the church raison d'etre was to support it and be taught "governance" in the process.

    In short.
I do not know what the ACOG's taught on the bankers. I only know that HWA taught that he had learned in Chicago that the people who predicted the 1929 crash determined this by looking at the character and morality of business not the numbers.
Right after he said that he said that an economic crisis would unite europe, not some political dictator.

This exactly occurred since the crisis is used to glue together the institutions and banking union in such way that the European countries can NEVER be separate again or go broke. Britain was never part of the earlier treaties so was able to depart at the last moment possible.

I am not saying HWA has any prophetic insight. I am just saying he said unimaginable things that have occurred.

Therefore I quoted Shakespeare who earlier observed that we are merely the players in a big play. And a play requires a script not an evaluation whether the fifties movie was better than the modern version/interpretation of the same script.

  10. You may also have noticed that I take "our quarrels" to remote corners of the internet. (no offense redfox)

I believe you have earned the spotlight on "banned" with many frequent flyer miles.
Only now and then you suffer a relapse. I guess that is when the reality of the experience sets in. Then you wax eloquent again.

If you want remote, I know of several sites that have gone moribund, but it's still possible to post comments.

  12. You mean the "Poland" video.

I listened for 5 minutes and vomited.

For instance. He says Merkel wants "burocracy". Every freshman knows European burocracy are according to the french model.

666 fall in the trap of Macron using populist rethoric. But make no mistake in his working toward the progress of unification.

"Take eastern europe under us wing". This guy has no concept of geopolitical strategy.

Angela Merkel will pass as a leader a few more years. But the banking union will remain and make his cultural phantasies obsolete.

"The germans believe they are gods gift to the world." When did this guy ever hear a campaign speech of any american politician?

I'm sorry I have to stop wasting my time on Styxen hex whatever.

He is probably one of those guys who destroyed Hamburg this weekend and did not serve the cause of anti globalism. As a matter of fact. It looks like the politicians deliberately allowed these guys to destroy Hamburg and turn public opinion against the anti globalists who have destroyed their "positive idealist" image just the past three days.

    1. I'm not an apologist for Styx. In fact, my comment was to the effect that I'd like to hear second opinions. I also tried to learn something about his academic credentials, which would ostensibly lend some authority to his opinions. Couldn't find anything terribly impressive there. But, like Aron Ra, Styx is articulate, and has his fans amongst our xCOG brethren. It's not as if I have great credentials, either, but I never claim to do anything except to express my opinions, and to discuss those of others.

  13. Yes opinions are a good thing to have.
On occasion I have offered to delete postings if deemed offensive or too emotionally charged through personal irritations.

I find it hard (for time efficiency purposes) to comment or react "broadly" on opinions like "ra", "styx", or my own comments.

Much easier to answer one topic of interest at the time. (i.e. the flood for ra, or sole us protection for eastern europe for styx?, or a direct question on a specific for me).

Impossible to answer remarks like, "you re nuts, most is nonsense, or answer a believer in scientific manner or vice versa.

Opinions, even scientific opinions are often arranged in such manner to serve some purpose.

Sometimes people do not dispute the facts but rather the purpose. I believe not many would deny climate change but rather fear the loss of their job in the steel mill or other stabilities, then they vote according to that opinion but are still sociable people when met in person.

    BTW

I admit having been deliberately vague and using strange wordings when discussing armstrongism like "the american empire" and "agent of the "strong hand from some place", which every student recognizes as Adam Smith's view on capitalism.

In relation to that styx dude and his misplaced reliance on american hard power. In relation to our "common heritage" and the many sponsored dinners for diplomats and "economic advisors", mind you not "military advisors" I have emphasized america's "soft power."

I'll share a current view on this topic.

Perhaps this article clarifies some of my position while carefully circumventing the cultic nature of our experience which perhaps can be labelled as "secularizing" the enterprise.

  15. BB,

Thanks for pointing me to the "Poland" thing on "Painfull".

I saw that on the 15th James has compiled a few sentences on HWA that were in the public domain.

I must admit he says it better and more compressed than I have done for the past so many years.

So how can I let it go if there are at least 162 pages in the fbi files that are not cleared for reasons of "national security."

That is the one weak point in James's compilation. He mentions that and than starts guessing on some minor offences, while he just mentioned "national security."

I'm starting to like James a bit more again.
