PCG has Only "About 20 Native German-Speaking Members"

Sometimes it is pointed out that PCG's writers have a severe fixation on Germany.

What do PCG's leaders have to say about this? Here is how Gerald Flurry responded on this matter as seen in a previous post.
Churchill was accused of having a “strong anti-German obsession.” Sometimes we are so accused. But some of our own members are German. We believe in facing the truth. Those who fail to do so are going to learn by the sledge hammer of events! (Gerald Flurry, Winston S. Churchill: The Watchman, 1999, 2002, 2006, Chapter 3, p. 18)
But how strong is this argument? PCG only has about 20 German speaking members in Germany and Austria.
The pcg [sic] has about 20 native German-speaking members in Germany and Austria. Members in Vienna, Salzburg and northern and southern Germany receive recorded messages from headquarters. (Source.)
Let people remember that fact from PCG's own writings the next time this weak argument is used again by PCG's leaders.

Now why would people think PCG has a “strong anti-German obsession”?

It might just have something to do with the fact that Gerald Flurry called Germans a people fated to be "a continual curse upon mankind" and chosen by Satan "to inflict a stream of misery and destruction upon mankind"?
Nahum is a book about Germany, a nation which has been a continual curse upon mankind. Satan chose the Germans to inflict a stream of misery and destruction upon mankind. (Gerald Flurry, Royal Vision, July-August, 2000, p. 39.)
Why did Robert Morley once call Germans "Huns"?
Sixty-nine years later, London is under attack again. Only this time, the Huns are burning it economically. (Robert Morley, "The Battle for Britain Begins", Trumpet Weekly, October 17, 2009, p. 7.)
The reason PCG's writers are said to have “strong anti-German obsession” is because this is an accurate assessment of what PCG's writers actually say.

  1. On MSN yesterday, I saw an article about the growing concerns Jewish people have about their safety, living in Europe. Immediately sensing that this was exactly the type of story ACOGs would tend to distort and supply, I took the bait and read the article. But, alas! The Jews were not experiencing fears over any sort of revival of Naziism. Their fears were based on the activities of Islamic terrorists, and that, primarily in France, not Germany.

I wonder if most of the people in these ACOGs have ever looked at the percentages of dna in the general population of the USA. The dominant dna isn't even Anglo Saxon, Celtic, or the Heinz 57 designation "English". Our national predominant dna is actually German!

In the ACOGs, behavior is thought to be almost predestined, not by time eras, or environment, but by ethnicity. Germans are stereotyped in their behavioral patterns because of sweeping generalizations made about their heritage. And, the ACOGs do this to President Obama, too. It is just plain silliness masquerading as enlightenment. In fact, it reminds me of a story. My ex-wife was a supervisor in a union shop, and had the bad habit of expecting people to actually do some work while on the clock. As an outgrowth from one particular situation, a union steward made the accusation that she was prejudiced against Hispanics. During her "hearing", she pointed out that this was not possible, because she, herself was Hispanic. This was not acceptable to the union steward, who pointed out that because my wife did not grow up speaking Spanish, she was "not Hispanic enough" to be able to understand or relate. Never mind that the vast majority of her family actually did speak Spanish, and lived in the barrio. This illustrates how people, and collectives will go to ridiculous lengths to make their prejudices and little boxes appear to be totally appropriate.

  2. What I want to know is whether the PCG has "Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken" in their song book?
