What an authoritarian system!
This governmental system was very effectively used by HWA and his collaborators to impose a savage system of exploitative oppression upon lowly WCG members.
This abusive pattern of behavior is faithfully maintained in most COGs today, such as LCG, PCG, RCG, COG-PKG and others.
I remember as a young child going through some of the church literature that my parents had left lying around. (It was everywhere!)
ReplyDeleteI had discovered an organizational flow chart that appeared to be published by the WCG, similar to what has been posted here. Maybe it was something distributed in-house or through the back-channels, I don't know. However, this particular chart was post- apocalyptic-millennial with God the Father, Jesus Christ, King David, HWA and then the rest of the apostles and prophets etc. in that order.
What amazed me was that HWA had the arrogance and audacity to presume he was entitled to that position in the top-down-government he beat everyone over the head with.
I imagine had he continued to live any longer he would have proclaimed "his" work more important to the works of Jesus Christ. Wait, didn't he actually say that too?
I think what amazes me the most is how gullible the mindless members had become to grant him so much power over their minds and their bank accounts.
Will this insanity ever end? I can only summarize that when the last person every to be influenced by HWA finally dies off, then and only then will it end.
